[jcifs] SMB Connection

Hi,

I'm new to SMB and was wondering if there was a way to connect once and then 
stay connected.  Each time I create a new SmbFile I always have to pass in the 
user credentials.  I would like to connect to the SMB Server as soon as the 
application starts and then disconnect when the application closes.  This is a 
Swing application that is running locally on the users Workstation.
