[jcifs] Is this a defect?

I use jcifs as a filter and apply to URL '/book',
after access /book, I can not get any parameter from
request! The return value of
HttpServletRequest.getParameterNames() is empty, no
matter I use GET or POST.  But if I apply the filter
to the URL after '/book', I get parameters.

It's very strange, did anybody meet this too?
