[jcifs] Moving Forward

Note to all JCIFS users,

Unfortunately I no longer have a very good test environment or a lot of
time for jCIFS so the speed with which bugs get fixed will be proportional
to the participation of jCIFS users. Currently my participation has been
reduced to (sometimes) answering user's questions and fixing easy problems
(i.e. ~30 min/day).

It would be nice if someone else could get inside and learn the ropes. You
don't need to be a networking or Java guru and I think the code is pretty
well organized. But please don't email me saying "oh, I'll work on jCIFS,
I have lots of experience with jFoo, and I want to do x, y, z, and
it's going to be really fun ... blah, blah, blah". Just find a problem,
diagnose it, formulate a hypothesis, and ask thoughtful questions that
don't require a treatise on polymorphism as it pertains to OSS licensing.

This has been a public service announcement. You may now return to your
regularly scheduled cube whipping.

Thank you and have a nice day :-)

Mike
