[jcifs] java.util.ConcurrentModificationException

We have implemented Single SignOn with one of our Webapps - and at times we have users reporting that when they try accessing the Application, they get an HTTP500 error with 'java.util.ConcurrentModificationException'....If they hit refresh, they get logged in fine...
 
I have done some reading up and came accross an article indicating that JCIFS 1.1.0 has a bug that causes this errror.
 
Is this true? And if yes, is there official documentation that states this?
 
I need to add that I am new to JCIFS....
