Senior Software Engineer - RainStorage

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill our Senior Software Engineering role. At Rainfinity, we are developing innovative products that add value in TCP/IP networks and Storage networks. These products enhance the functionality of networked storage systems and network gateways.

Job Requirements:

  a.. Hands-on position involving work in all phases of development, including requirements, architecture, design, implementation and testing 
  b.. Proven track record for on-time delivery of high-quality software products 
  c.. Ability to effectively influence product direction 
  d.. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-class software products 
  e.. Flexible, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities 
Minimum Requirements:

  a.. BSCS or MSCS with at least 5 years commercial software engineering experience 
  b.. Strong C++ programming skills 
  c.. Expert in algorithm design, data structures and multi-threaded programming 
  d.. Strong problem solving skills 
  e.. File system protocol (NFS, CIFS, etc.) experience 
  f.. Familiarity with NAS and/or SAN technologies 
  g.. Networking protocol (TCP/IP suite) experience 
  h.. UNIX and Windows development experience 
  i.. Excellent communication skills 
Desirable Skills:

  a.. Driver/kernel development experience
