[jcifs] credentials while accessing the file on localhost

Hi,

I'm using JCIFS to copy files to various servers. The application searches for files (based on pattern matching) on source machines and then transfers them to the various destination machines. The source machine can either be localhost or a remote machine. 
I always have to provide the user name and password in the SmbFile constructor (else I get a SMBAuthException) even if i'm trying to access a file on the localhost or on a remote machine that can access the shared folder without any credentials, . 
Is there a way I can access the files on the same/remote machine w/o providing the credentials. I can access the same folders directly through explorer w/o credentials. Please reply. I will elaborate if required.
