Not really. The DosFileFilter can be used to list hidden files and I still
have not fully explored some of the problems you reported. When I get to
them will backport to 0.8 if they are simple/critial.

Sorry, but this is the "fast-track". Not that I'll be working any faster
than normal but we're skipping a stability period.
