[jcifs] Fixes for NTLM w/Win9x clients

Well Eric it looks like you're breaking away with the http package. You have
been very good with changes and advice previously so I think it's time I take
the leap of faith and push out your work as is (minus carriage returns in the
tgz of course :~)
