To be pedantic...  ;)

The above would be equivalent to "SMB://" with a default workgroup of
"workgroup".  A client *could* use the default workgroup as a 'hint',
telling it which LMB or DMB to query for the list of available workgroups.

In the end, though, "smb:///?WORKGROUP=workgroup" has the same semantics 
as "smb://".
