>From what I've been able to dredge up (mostly old CIFS mailing list
discussions from 1998) it seems that no one really knows how the
SessionKey field is to be used. My guess is that someone had a design
in mind, but it was never implemented...probably for [in]compatibility
reasons. The field is related to the VC number, which has its own
troubles. Hmmm...
