I try not put anything into jCIFS unless I've seen the equivalent operation "on the wire". To generate the
capture, sometimes it is necessary to write a Win32 program (or group of programs). It is simply not good
enough to capture one instance or gress so that it just works. I want to see and understand how various
flags might affect the wire protocol. This is what I did with the Named Pipes code written by Paul.
For the random access file tests it would be necessary to write a Win32 program to run through the various
seek operations. An equivalent jCIFS program could then be written and the captures compared side by
side.
