[distcc] linux virtual server and distcc

has anyone tried to use linux ipvs with distcc?

for example:
- enable ipvs enabled for distccd port on an host
- start compilation on that host

ipvs should easily redirect traffic to other hosts with distccd

I'd like to try this idea on four alpha miata workstations ... any hints?
