[distcc] lzo problem under HPUX

Could you please try 

  $ DISTCC_MMAP=0
  $ export DISTCC_MAP

on both the client and server machines, before starting the server?
Please let me know if that fixes it -- if it does, I will turn off
mmap by default on HP-UX.
