[distcc] setgroups failed

On MacOSX, I get the following error with the latest distcc (2.11.1):

distccd[15193] (dcc_discard_root) ERROR: setgroups failed: Invalid argument

It works fine on panther, but not on jaguar.  Any ideas on what could 
cause this and/or how to fix it?  =)
