Something to look into.. When upgrading from previous versions to 2.11, I noticed the following files installed:

/usr/share/distccmon-gnome-icon.png
/usr/share/distccmon-gnome.desktop
/usr/share/distccmon-gnome.glade
/usr/share/distccmon-gnome.gladep

The oddity is that I didn't specify '--with-gnome' because I'm still using GNOME 1.4 (for now).
