I tried getting a gdb backtrace, but I'm not finding a core file. Am I missing
something?

bash-2.05a-13
$ ulimit -a
core file size (blocks, -c) unlimited
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
file size             (blocks, -f) unlimited
max locked memory (kbytes, -l) unlimited
max memory size (kbytes, -m) unlimited
open files                    (-n) 1024
pipe size          (512 bytes, -p) 8
stack size            (kbytes, -s) unlimited
cpu time             (seconds, -t) unlimited
max user processes            (-u) 7168
virtual memory        (kbytes, -v) unlimited

$ make -j10
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../../flow -I../../flow -I../../mcop
-I../.. -I/usr/lib/qt-3.1/include -I/usr/X11R6/include  -I../../libltdl

-f 'gslffttest.c' || echo './'`gslffttest.c
make[3]: *** [gslffttest.o] Segmentation fault
<snip>
$ ls -l core*
ls: core*: No such file or directory

$ quota
Disk quotas for user bob (uid 1501): none

And I got 19G of disk space free, I can write to the directory, etc...
