[distcc] distcc-xfree-gentoo problems

Well, distcc can still be useful if you're installing onto a slow
machine.  Even without parallelism it can pay off to shift
compilations from say a 700MHz machine to a 2GHz one.  (Or maybe not,
it depends on the tree, network, etc.)
