FWIW, I've already submitted a patch that fixes this bug, but one of
the maintainers of the preprocessor (that was affected by part of the
patch) haven't agreed that it was a bug in the first place :-( He
hasn't agreed that the fact that we generate different line-number
information when compiling with a separate preprocessor is a bug
either :-( I gave up, but filing bug reports against the preprocessor
supporting the patch that fixes the problems probably wouldn't hurt
:-)
