ok I have tryed  this version. 

Some problems are fixed ( nstr, socket)  but still I have to add do Makefile 
path for includes and libs of popt library ( /opt/gnome-1.4/lib , 
/opt/gnome-1.4/include) . I thind configure script should notice that it 
cannot find this library.
