Subject: [EXTERNAL] SMB2-WRITE with offset=-2

Hello dochelp,

according to MS-FSA 2.1.5.4 "Server Requests a Write"

If ByteOffset equals -2, then set ByteOffset to
   Open.CurrentByteOffset.

a write at this magic offset should happen at the at of the file.

However, if I try this over SMB3 against a Windows server this just fails with STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER.

Is this not supposed to work over the wire?

Trace attached, cf packets 45+46.

Thanks!
