Hi Uri,

My research indicates that you are correct, with the exception of:

    Token MS-DTYP cacls.exe
    ------------------------------------
    KA 0x00000019 0x000F007F, which I believe should be 0x000F003F

Please let me know if you concur.

Bryan

Hi,

In [MS-DTYP], section 2.5.1.1, under "object-specific-rights-string", some definitions don't match the values set by the cacls.exe utility (on Server 2012R2). The check was made by specifying:
calcs <dir name> /S:"D:AI(A;;<token>;;;BO)"
and then:
cacls <dirname>

And comparing the flags.

Token MS-DTYP cacls.exe
------------------------------------
FW 0x00100116 0x00120116
KA 0x00000019 0x000F007F
KR 0x0000003F 0x00020019
KX 0x00000019 0x00020019
KW 0x00000006 0x00020006

Thanks,
Uri.
