Subject: QUESTION - samba cifs mount
________________________________

If this is not the right forum for this please let me know:

I have a user that received a new computer
She can mount a share to the samba drive, however on her computer she is not seeing all files\folders for example
in the samba share we have
\\computer\data1\
there is 1 directory and 2 files under this location
the direcory is visible but the files are not
if she goes into the directory
\\computer\data1\dir1
she only sees one file

if she maps the same drive on my machine with the same user id and password
she sees dir1 and both files
under dir1 she sees a bunch of files

I'm trying to determine what could be the setting that may be causing this issue as I have tried several things and my windows guys are lost too

This is a windows 7 64 bit machine connecting to a samba on a linux/unix box

Thanks,
