For problems involving the Linux CIFS VFS client, it might be best to send
questions to linux-cifs-client at lists.samba.org or open a Bugzilla report at
https://bugzilla.samba.org/enter_bug.cgi (in the Product field, specify "CifsVFS").

In this case, I see you have already opened a Bugzilla report
(https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4076). At this point, it might be
best to continue discussion of this issue there.
