Hai,

I have released the bionic-samba411 for amd64/i386, as in, these are now available in the repo.

Ubuntu Bionic samba 4.11.2
Repo info : https://apt.van-belle.nl/

Buildlogs are also coming online, you can find these here for samba 4.11.2
http://downloads.van-belle.nl/samba4/Buildlogs/bionic/

If you upgrading from 4.10.X, due to a move of one file your upgrade will stop,
its needed only once to fix it. New installs wont have this.

Use : apt-get dist-upgrade --autoremove --purge
This removed and purges old files and installs/upgrades at the same time.

You will see the following.
Unpacking samba (2:4.11.2+dfsg-0.1~bionic~1) over (2:4.10.10+dfsg-0.1~bionic~1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-1h9v9B/08-samba_2%3a4.11.2+dfsg-0.1~bionic~1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libmscat.so.0', which is also in package samba-libs:amd64 2:4.10.10+dfsg-0.1~bionic~1
dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Samba is not being run as an AD Domain Controller: Masking samba-ad-dc.service

Errors were encountered while processing:
 /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-1h9v9B/08-samba_2%3a4.11.2+dfsg-0.1~bionic~1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

To fix it, run : apt --fix-broken install && apt dist-upgrade --autoremove
Sorry, havent had the time to fix it and i needed these to get online and the solution/fix works.

Do test the packages before you put these in production.

My personal guideline.
X.yy.0 . Only for testing / home use / standalone
X.yy.1 . Only for testing / home use / standalone
X.yy.2 . First one to enter producution, only as Domain Members.
X.yy.3 . First one to enter producution, only as Domain Members / Start testing AD-DC setups.
X.yy.4 . First one to enter producution, as AD-DC.

Have fun with these..

P.s.
Debian Buster users with squid proxy..
You might want to look at : https://apt.van-belle.nl/current-packages-in-buster-squid49-apt.txt
Provides squid4.9 with ssl enabled + c-icap-module-squidclamav
A squid 4.8 is also available, same setup, but 4.9 is the new stable. :-)
