[Samba] Password backend

Hi, I use Samba 3.04 and have im my smb.conf this line
passwd backend = tdbsam

But every users and machines a make using smbpassd, but the problme is my
root in samba don´t have permission for add one machine in the domain.
I changed in my smb.conf the line:

Passwd backend = tdbsam
for
Passwd backend = smbpassd

And the access is accept against.
I tested this changed and the once problem is add every users again.
My qyestion is, have any problme changed tdbsam for smbpasswd in samba 3 ?
