[Samba] Segmendation Fault with smbpasswd

If i do a....
bash~#smbpasswd -a -m uos-staff

i get a....
Segmendation Fault

if u use the idealx scripts this appears in log.smbd
(in using samba 3.0.7 with ldap support)
