It was unfortunate that we had to do this, but I believe it is
necessary. We have tolerated Lukes rewriting of history for far too
long, and it now just serves as a distraction.

Just so everyone know, the whole team decided to do this, and we have
been discussing it for a few days, well before Luke posted his latest
missive. 

Hopefully this will lead to more technical discussion and less
politics for a few months.
