You need to uninstall your old Samba-2.0.7-36 package.
One simple way to do this is to type:
$ /usr/bin/redhat-config-packages
in a GNOME-TERMINAL. Or select it from the KDE/GNOME menu.
Select "Windows File Server" and deselect it from the list of installed
packages.
Now try to reinstall the new package. No more conflicts should appear.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I am also a newbie but I've had my problems with RPMs
and I'm quite sure that should solve the problem.
