Hi,
I have a Samba share
[docs]
comment=Document Control
path=/srv/doccon
write list=root, MYDOMAIN\doccon
read only=no
create mask=0660
force create mode=0660
directory mask=0750
hide undreadable=yes
The files are under /srv/doccon are given 0770 for doccon:"MYDOMAIN\Doc
Writers", with ACL
setfacl -R -m g:"Group B":rwx /srv/doccon/docindex/
setfacl -R -d -m g:"Group B":rwx /srv/doccon/docindex/
Group B users can rwx documents under NT 4.0 no problem. But if the user
edits the document under W2K the permission is assigned read-only access
(470). No one can edit the document. Would someone please tell me what am I
doing wrong?
Regards,
Norman
