Office 2000 Problems for users designated "Domain User"

I haven't followed this entire thread, so this may have already been
addressed, but...

Is it possible that you INSTALLED the applications while the Users were in
the wrong group, and now the permissions are messed up?

In other words, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office after
fixing the group memberships?

Just a thought...
