Hello, I am having a problem with Samba 2.0.6-9 on RedHat 6.2 Kernel
2.2.16-3. After running for a couple days the smbd just stops. I set up a
cron tab that shows smb status every hour so I can restart samba when this
problem occurs. I don't get so many phone calls that way. I am forwarding
the message I get from cron running the command "/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb
status" I can't find anything unusual in the logs and their doesn't seem
to any pattern to this problem. If anyone can help or point me in the
right direction to solving this problem I would appreciate it. Please let
me know if you need any more information.
Thank You,
Keith Muska
