Hi all,
My logs tell me on the second server that:
SIOCGIFCONF: Invalid argument
No interface found for address 196.7.40.2
Derived broadcast address 196.7.40.255
Added interface ip=196.7.40.2 bcast=196.7.40.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
despite my ifconfig being configured as:
le0: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 196.7.40.2 netmask fffffff0 broadcast 196.7.40.15
ether 8:0:20:80:50:95
Notice that the netmask is wrong.
My smb.conf includes:
interface 196.7.40.2/255.255.255.240
Significantly, another samba machine can smbclient -L fine...
Any ideas?
Regards,
Graham
