The above message was generated by your e-mail client because it knew
that the VCF card attachment could not be read by many of the popular
E-mail clients and mailing list programs in use.
Too bad it does not put that message up as a dialog box before it sends
the E-mail so that people will realize what it is doing.
It is a bit misleading because it makes it look like the problem is on
the receiving end instead of the sending end.
For mailing lists, newsgroups, and external business E-mails, plain text
with no attachments of any kind is the only format that will be
reliably delivered.

$x = %x00f00040
$show sym x
X = 15728704 HEX = 00F000040 Octal = 00074000100
$z = x / %o200000
$show sym z
Z = 240 Octal = 360
The UIC that it is attempting to use is [360, 100]
This probably corresponds to UIC for what ever the SAMBA GUEST account
is set to.
I have never run SAMBA 2.0.3, but from running SAMBA 2.0.6 on OpenVMS,
it was discovered that Windows NT requires that the SAMBA GUEST account
is configured. It needs to make a brief connection using the Guest
Account before connecting as the named user.
This guest account must also have a valid default directory that SAMBA
will temporarily set it's default to.
This is showing up as a FAQ on this list. Is something wrong with the
SAMBA 2.0.3 installation where this account is not verified or created?
SAMBA 2.0.6 by default uses an account SAMBA__GUEST that is dedicated to
SAMBA for this use.
