libsmbclient.so problem w98 servers? (LONG)

I was thiking the same ... the truncation seem to happen randomly ..
maybe a wrong pointer/counter somwhere not initialized at evry filename
read that was someway initialized automatically in old code?
The output is not eniugh to understand where's the problem.
