Well, in the old 1.9.18 days the username could be seen from ps in the
username column. But as this behaviour changed, I'm doing my best to get
something similar.

Datapoint: if smbd would ENTIRELY run as user, we could even use quotas (on
mem usage etc.). But as this is technically not possible (1 smbd server 1
machine and therefore (possibly) several users) I'm seeking alternatives.


Please keep in mind that my patch is more a proof-of-concept than
TheRealThing(TM) as it uses a global variable. OTOH, I saw several others
lying around ...
