Simpler yet, a cronjob or daemon that notices when files appear in a
directory, uses "fuser" or the like to monitor if the file is being written
to, then when it isn't, moves it into a working area, mounts it (to sanity
check it :-), umounts and burns.

It could even Email the usercode who owned the file telling them it's
finished :-)

The only hard bit is Emailing the burnt CD ;-)
