syslog patches for 2.0.7

hi all,

possibly my mind is playing tricks on me but I'd thought I'd seen a post
from someone about a patch for the syslog code that comes with 2.0.7, I
thought I'd saved it for future perusal but I cant find it and the mail
archives are..... so can someone tell me if I'm going mad or point me at
the patch?
