I had on my inetd.conf

These two lines :
#netbios-ssn stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd
smbd
#netbios-ns dgram udp wait root /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd
nmbd

These lignes are different from the lign you( Michael ) told me to have
#netbios-ssn stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd
smbd
#netbios-ns stream udp wait root /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd
 nmbd

What does dgram means .
Is it important

When i execute
smbd -D
nmbd -D

I have only smbd daemon running when i check the processus.
is it normal ??
