Alpha 17 was a mistake - Andrew has now turned off the
auto-alpha generation.

The betas are going out from the 2.0 branch, the auto
alphas were going out from HEAD.

I'll change the version in the HEAD branch to be 2.1alpha.
so any new alphas from the HEAD will be 2.1alphaX.
