The static configuration model in jcifs is very broken. The only reliable
way to make it work seems to be via JVM properties (-Djcifs.X=), which is
clearly not a very great solution when what everyone wants to do is use
properties defined in the web.xml file or pass a Properties object into a
jcifs API call. Try the JVM property.
