[jcifs] jcifs-ext

So jcifs is maintenance mode and jcifs-ext has never been
maintained... but we are (still) using jcifs and jcifs-ext version
0.94 quite successfully. Lately I wanted to upgrade but only jcifs has
changed, jcifs-ext has not.

Have any features of jcifs-ext found their way into jcifs? Or can I
still use the old jcifs-ext with the newer jcifs?

I am wondering whether the two are out of sync.
