</div>I've also got an AMD phenom 3x, and a 2x, all pretty slow computers. You<br>
can always run 2 compile threads per core on the faster machines,<br>
although I'm not doing anything fancy like that. If you do a<br>
well-parallelized build like the Linux kernel than it doesn't really<br>
matter if its a bit asynchronous.<br>
