Hello,

I am a newbie to the wireless world of linux. so far i have been able
to install the orinoco card with the patched pcmcia_cs_3.2 package to use the
card in monitor mode. The card gets detected properly but i still cant get to
the network.

When i run the test scripts in the debug_tools directory of the pcmcia_cs
package, i get this message "The interface is not configured!". I have all the
necessary settings in place in the network.opts file. But why am i still getting
this message? What else needs to be done to configure the interface?

Thanks for any advice!
-Sumanth.
