added a second block in smb.conf, so it reads now:

idmap config CUST:backend = rid
idmap config CUST:range = 10000-99999
idmap config CUST:schema_mode = rfc2307

idmap config CUST2:backend = rid
idmap config CUST2:range = 100000-150000
idmap config CUST2:schema_mode = rfc2307

after restarting smbd/nmbd/winbind and waiting a bit I now get users of
both domains displayed via "getent passwd"

Is this the correct way of doing this?
would be great ;)

I was even able to successfully chown a file with such a user (as all
this is intended to work, ...)
