[Samba] Config sharing help

Using samba on our unix server we are trying to talk to windows vista business enterprise and windows 7. When we put the setting: server signing to auto windows 7 works and when we have the setting off vista works. They both will not work at the same time. Can you please give me troubleshooting help or information on how to get all of these to talk.
