my nsswitch.conf looks like:

passwd:          files winbind
group            files winbind
shadow           files winbind
hosts            files dns wins
networks:       files
protocols:      db files
services:       db files
ethers:         db files
rpc:            db files
netgroup:       nis

I can't  account for the fact that some of my entries have semi-colon's in them.
