[Samba] how to use m4_pattern_allow

what is  "m4_pattern_allow" ??
how to use it ??
I am installing patch of acl-2.2.49.tar.gz but it gives me error stating --
"line 1650 :AC_CONFIG_MACRO:m4"
line 1650 : use m4_pattern_allow"
