You cannot really say that. I just finished rewriting over half of
a book to update documentation:

	http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/samba3/index.html

So I went back and looked at your previous post:

I guess I would expect someone trying to configure a server
to have enough networking knowledge to realize that
another daemon is already bound to port 139. Now you can
read the "smb ports" option in smb.conf(5) to change the
default ports (generally not a good idea) or you can run
`lsof -n -i tcp` to see what is listening on port 139.

But to be fair, I went and dug up your original post here:

  http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2007-April/131409.html

The smb.conf excerpt: valid users = @"domain users", clearly
shows that you did not read the release notes either.
Unqualified domain names in smb.conf have not been recommended
nor supported since Samba 3.08. In Samba 3.0.23 this became
a hard requirement.

So please, before you start whining, at least read the documentation
provided. If you don't want to do that, at least please stop
trolling this list. Thanks.

cheers, jerry
