[Samba] Query to find if local system is wins server

Hi Jerry,
    I want to do it locally. 
    My one question is still unanswered:
        'nmblookup -U localhost -R jack' returned
success 
        though local host is not a wins server 
        Shouldnt it fail with error 
        " 127.0.0.1 system is not  wins server" ?
