[Samba] authentication problems after upgrade to samba
3.0.7-2.FC1 SOLVED!

good morning all!
craig led me in the right direction on this one.
the problem was a bad ip address for dog2 in the dog1 wins.dat file. dog1
is the network's win server.
here is what i did to solve this:
stopped smb on dog1.
deleted the wins.dat and browse.dat files in /var.cache/samba.
started smb on dog1.
restarted smb on dog2.
verified dog2 registered correctly by checking the wins.dat file on dog1
(cat /var/cache/samba/wins.dat).
